Our Vision And Mission
The Importance of Community in the Hypnotherapy World
The PHA is a not-for-profit organisation, members subscriptions fees are used for the benefit of all.
Our members have ALL received a quality hypnotherapy education & abide by our Code Of Ethics. We keep our membership fees low and offer free ongoing educational bonus programs and member support.
We aim to do everything we can to promote the ethical, accessible, and effective practice of hypnotherapy everywhere, because we believe these tools can help change people's lives.
We are passionate about building relationships and strong community bonds between our hypnotherapists and we look forward to welcoming new students and graduates into our association. We believe that by building these connections within the community of hypnotherapy it creates a stronger unity on a whole that is a benefit to everyone.
We endeavour to offer exciting and cutting edge trainings and continued learning that are recognised within the industry as continued proof of development (CPD).
We have seen a vast change in the way the industry has had to adapt to the current ways of life and we are there to support each other in every hurdle the industry has to tackle, by networking together, sharing ideas and moving with the changing times of online training to working online with clients.
We have a number of highly experienced and skilled supervisors within the PHA and are in the process of creating a mentoring system so those that are newly qualified and still finding their feet can have a helping hand from someone who has already walked that path.
We have a strong relationship and connection with the Hypnotherapy Council Of Australia opening up a larger networking opportunity with schools and connections to other associations

A Welcome Message from the Chairperson
Welcome to the Professional Hypnotherapists of Australia Inc (PHA) website. Whether you are a hypnotherapist seeking information regarding the Professional Hypnotherapists of Australia, or a member of the public seeking information on hypnotherapy this website is designed to assist you with the information you seek.
The PHA is a professional organisation for hypnotherapists located Australia wide. One of its primary roles is to advocate on behalf of hypnotherapists to continue the ongoing improvement of hypnotherapy services to the public. The PHA prides itself on its continual focus to assist hypnotherapists to maintain excellent standards of practice. This includes access to educational development programs and provision for ongoing supervision by experienced hypnotherapists. Finding a hypnotherapist who is fully accredited can be a difficult process in Australia given the lack of Government regulation.
If you are a member of the public reading this article, you may not be aware that in Australia you may call yourself a hypnotist after a three day hypnosis course. This is most disconcerting for both the general public and for fully qualified professional hypnotherapists. Your wellbeing and the reputation of the craft, is of primary concern to the PHA and it is for this reason that we push for hypnotherapists to be appropriately accredited, insured and supervised.
